The Frio River at Concan is just 90 minutes west of San Antonio and from Austin three hours southwest through the Hill Country to the Frio River crossings at Leakey. Mid-way between Leakey and Concan is historic Rio Frio and Texas’ famous Garner State Park. This is the perfect year-round destination with usually mild weather and lower cost accommodations in the off-peak seasons.
Besides river rafting, kayaking, fishing and hunting, the Frio River Area is busy with Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and big Harley-Davidson motorcycles and every kind of bicycle. It’s a great place to ride now or any time of year and one of the most biker friendly areas around. Come join the fun at the Frio now!
