Tubing/toobing, kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, rock/cliff diving, lounging and relaxation on The Frio River are all popular pastimes and main attractions for our Frio Guests. Many can attest to how hard it is to resist the cool waters, cypress trees, rock beaches, panoramic hillside views, fall foliage, limestone bluffs, good company and the many other offerings of the Frio River Canyon. This area is beautiful every season of the year and a great vacation spot for Valentines' Day, Spring Break, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and.. hmmmm ..well everyday is a "Holiday" at the Frio! It's also a great spot for weddings, Romantic Getaways, weekend with Friends or Families of any size....

Besides Tubing on the Frio, many enjoy lounging at Popular "HotSpots" like Magers Crossing or the beautiful swimming hole between Neal's Lodges & Buchanan Cabins.


During the peak season, many of the local stores and outfitters offer shuttle services to/from river entry and/or exit points.


Other tubing facilities including Star Rentals on CR 350 in Concan also offer both kayaks and tubes while others carry speciality tubes with coolers and bottoms.

Whatever the activity, the amazing scenery encompassing the area along with the crystal clear waters of the Frio River are known to be perfect destination and remedy for any occasion and ailment.
