Being guests and residents ourselves, we found there was many swimming holes or "hotspots" we weren't aware of. If we didn't know, how many others like yourselves

    The Frio River at Concan is just 90 minutes West of San Antonio and three hours Southwest from Austin through the Texas Hill Country to the Frio River crossings at Leakey. Mid-way between Leakey and Concan is the historic little town of Rio Frio and Texas’ famous
    Garner State Park.

    Besides tubing, kayaking, swimming, fishing, hunting, and numerous other activities including but not limited to bird watching and photography- the Frio River Area is also a popular place for Bikers, Cyclists and Car Clubs.
